It’s structured exactly like a mobile game, you gain money incredibly slowly, and only meaningfully gain money from leveling up. What I do care about is that the career mode is one of the most poorly designed things I’ve seen in the literal hundreds of racing games I’ve played. I also have a pretty high tolerance for bad racing games, I liked Flatout 4, Ridge Racer Unbounded, and DiRT 5.
